7:00pm at GCHS (showcasing the music they will perform for
assessment on March 6th and 7th)

6th Grade Band- KMEA (Kentucky Music Educators
Association) at NKU.
Tuesday, March 6th - More details to come later but we
will leave school around 12:30 p.m. and return around 6:00 p.m.

Kings Island Trip- (fundraiser reward)

(waiting to see how many snow days we have and when school will let
out for the summer)

Chamber Ensemble Concert for
the 8th graders and the high school students combined.
As soon as I have that date, I’ll send that to you!

Also, in March we will be selling
Butterbraids in order to finish the selling requirements to be
able to go on the Kings Island trip in May
3.)
2012 Marching Band meetings
and information will be sent out in February! Mr. Owens said
to go ahead and tell you that the season will begin at the
beginning of July and end the second week of November. If
you are interested but are planning summer vacations, please DO
NOT schedule those between July and November. June is
the best month for vacations!
4.)
Spirit Wear! Students
will be getting a selection of GCMS Band Spirit wear in which they
can choose to purchase and wear throughout the year. These
make great gifts for parents, grandparents and family members!
