Grant County Band Boosters

What is "the band?"

  • At Grant County High School, “the band” refers to everyone who participates with the band program throughout the year.  This includes the Grant County High School Marching Band, The Grant County High School Color guard and Winter guard, the Percussion Ensemble, and all performance ensembles (symphonic band, concert band, jazz ensemble and middle school bands.) During the fall marching season, the marching band, drum line and color guard work to create an outstanding and highly competitive marching band show.  After Marching Band and throughout the spring concert season, the instrumental groups develop concert and festival pieces, jazz bands prepare for festivals and  performances, and may students participate in state and college honor ensembles. As you can see, Grant County offers a comprehensive instrumental music program.  The breadth and quality of the program requires a lot of support and involvement. Please let someone know how you want to help!
